People use MyToolsBaba to make real decisions: applying for a job, checking a payslip, paying Zakat, planning a loan. This page explains how we make sure our calculators and guides are accurate, current and honest.

1. Official sources first

Every rule in a calculator comes from a primary source, not from another calculator site:

• Pakistan salary tax: the Finance Act for the year and FBR's published salaried slabs.
• UK, US and India income tax: HMRC, the IRS and the Income Tax Department of India.
• Government job age: the job advertisement and the relevant commission's recruitment rules.
• Zakat: widely accepted fiqh positions on nisab and zakatable assets. Where scholars differ, we say so.
• BMI: World Health Organization categories, plus the lower cut-offs commonly used for Asian populations.
• GPA, CGPA and percentage: standard formulas and grading scales published by boards and universities.

2. Show the working

Each calculator explains its formula and gives a worked example, so you can check any result with pen and paper. Guides go step by step and point out what the calculator does not include, such as exempt allowances or tax credits.

3. Testing before publishing

Before a calculator or update goes live, we test it against hand-worked examples, published examples from official sources, and edge cases such as slab boundaries, leap years, 29 February birthdays, zero values and very large numbers.

4. Keeping things current

Tax slabs, nisab values and rules change. We review time-sensitive pages after each federal budget and whenever official rules change. Every such page shows the year the figures apply to and a "Last updated" date.

5. Corrections

If you spot an error, email contact@mytoolsbaba.com with the calculator name and your inputs. We check every report, fix confirmed errors as soon as possible and update the page date.

6. Independence and advertising

MyToolsBaba is independent. We are not paid by banks, tax firms, universities or any other organisation to change a result or recommend a product. The site may carry ads served by Google AdSense; ads are kept visually separate from calculator results and never affect them.
